Social Media Isn’t All Bad: Use Its Potential to Break Free from Being a People-Pleaser

I don’t know you, yet I haunt your dreams. You can’t help but think of me.

You care deeply about:

  • whether I like you or not,
  • what I think of you,
  • and what I will say when you fail.

And fail, you will. Failure is the path to success. You know this, yet you try to avoid failure as if it were a plague. But your success in failure avoidance is your downfall. By never putting yourself or your work out there, you remain unseen.

No one knows you. Your people-pleasing hides your brilliance from us. You live and die by the fear of what others think of you.

But it doesn’t always have to be that way.

Why not start using social media to practice in public? Speak your mind from the safety of your keyboard. Once you get started, the next steps become easier.

I’m not here to judge you; I speak from experience. My silence often grew into anger and frustration.
